In typical maritime winters the cracks can expand up to 150% of original size, with proper grinding and cleaning of debris we can ensure a proper adhesion of filling material. We then use a hot pour rubberized asphalt filling material that can handle the temperatures we see both summer, and winter. Once applied with our state-of-the-art equipment the rubberized asphalt material makes a superior bond reducing need to re-apply.
After crack filling comes seal-coating the asphalt. From day one of you blacktops life the UV rays from our sun, along with oxygen from our air combine to break apart the chemical bonds of asphalt strength. Pavement sealants, such as commercial grade sealers, are much more effective than what you will find at your local hardware store. When applied professionally we can guarantee a bond with the original surface for years to come. Prep work makes the difference.
